carrots orange healthy dessert
An old traditional Egyptian recipe .Very delicious , super healthy and rich in vitamin A & C .
Ingredients :
1 litre orange juice
Extra 1 cup orange juice
500 gm carrots grated
1/4 cup corn starch
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon orange zest
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoon stevia
2 tablespoon coconuts shredded
2 tablespoon raisins
Instruction :
In a large pan heat water till boiling point
Add carrots , cover and cook on low heat for bout 15 min or until carrots are soft
Raise heat and add orange juice and stir till mixture boils
Add extra orange juice and corn . mix well and stir well constantly till mixture boils and thickens
Poor in dishes and garnish with coconuts and raisins
Cool in the fridge
Serving size = 1 cup = 185 calories
